Flooding - 'Spoken Samples to Music'

by 12:01 0 comments

Since I rediscovered my A-level coursework a few months back, I've wanted to have another go at using spoken word samples over music. The topic this time is the flooding that took place in the UK around February this year. I feel the combination of the spoken word and music is very powerful, and also is a good excuse to play around with the oft comedic media finger-pointing seen in the news when an ongoing event like this happens. Was is the farmers fault? The MPs? The gays?! Who knows. But it makes for a fun - and hopefully interesting - track.
